Excellent quality. . . simply put, a gorgeous bag!This briefcase was everything I wanted for the first month of use, then like all the other reviews, the lockable hasp at the top of the briefcase stopped latching. I just started locking it to keep the briefcase closed in transit, but the knob on the key broke off too. I just used another key I had the fit into the keyhole, it works but is very inconvenient. I was only planning on locking the briefcase if I had to leave it unattended in the office or classroom. The lock is not very secure anyways, a young child could easily pick the lock. Knowing what I know now, I would’ve picked a different briefcase.The bag has plenty of room for my laptop, code book, files, and other miscellaneous items such as my ID, phone, and writing utensils. It has a very professional looking appearance, and the leather seems to be good quality. My biggest gripe is not that the latch broke, but that I have been searching for a replacement and couldn’t find one. Although I would prefer the hardware be better quality in the first place. I could not find a way to contact the seller either. I couldn’t find a “contact seller” tab on Amazon, and I did a Google search for Banuce and couldn’t find a webpage. It’s been really frustrating to get this resolved. I will post an update “if” I manage to get a replacement.Not as roomy as some briefcases and doesn’t have the ability to hold legal size folders but it seems well constructed and I’ve been complimented on its appearance. The removal of one star is for the clasp/locking mechanism. It seems very fragile and I predict this will break sooner rather than later.I bought this as a Christmas Present. My husband stared using it in January. In less that a month the top claps keeps popping open. Is there any kind of warranty on the hardward?Top clasp worked for about a month. Now it just pops open and won’t stay closed. Annoying and bothersome. Getting a replacement and hopefully no more issues. We’ll see.This is a super high quality leather for the money. Great color and sheen. Holds plenty of items. Suitable for smaller computers only.Beautiful, handy, secure and functional.Excellent product for the price.
